The Ferguson Library Board of Trustees has elected Anderson R. Livingston as its new chair for 2020 – 2021. He succeeds outgoing chair Dudley N. Williams, Jr.

Ann Zucker, a partner at the law firm of Carmody Torrance Sandak & Hennessey, has joined the board of The Ferguson Library Foundation.

The Ferguson Library’s Bookmobile is back on the road, visiting parks and other community locations in Stamford Saturdays and Sundays during August and September.

The Ferguson Library, along with other local nonprofits, cosponsored a successful community event last weekend, as people from all over Stamford came out to participate in the creation of a Black Lives Matter street mural in front of the library.

The Ferguson Library will begin a careful phased reopening beginning Monday, July 6 with walk-in service at the Main Library and Harry Bennett Branch. The South End and Weed Memorial & Hollander branches will follow later in the month.

The Ferguson Library has been selected to participate in Libraries Lead with Digital Skills, an initiative of the American Library Association and the Public Library Association, sponsored by Grow with Google, the tech company’s economic opportunity initiative.

STAMFORD, July 15, 2021  – The Ferguson Library is pleased to announce the promotion of Cheryl Bryant Harper to Director of Administrative Services. She replaces Nick Bochicchio, who has retired after 27 years of service to the library.
