STAMFORD, May 19, 2021 – The Ferguson Library has launched a new website, updating the library’s digital presence with sharp new functionality and design.
The website is themed around a clean new logo, giving a brand-new look and feel to the library’s online presence. The logo, which deliberately does not incorporate the Ferguson’s architectural elements, reflects the entire library system, not only the Main Library building.
The website is mobile responsive to support users on any size device and features an integrated search that allows users to toggle between searching the library's catalog for books and materials and the website for information and events. It is organized with a single top menu that contains navigation for the whole site, and integrated with a new calendar system, to allow users to easily find library programs and events. Users can filter for programs, register for an event through the calendar and receive email reminders.
There is also a chat feature, which offers the ability to connect directly with a librarian. You can still find the library at: https://www.fergusonlibrary.org/.
