The Greater Stamford Toastmasters will lead a six-session Youth Leadership Workshop that will help teens develop effective communication and leadership skills so that they may become tomorrow's leaders in business, industry and the community.
Participants will increase their self-confidence as they learn to:
- Overcome nervousness
- Organize and present ideas logically and convincingly
- Listen carefully to ideas and advice
- Participate in and lead group discussions or meetings
Lunch will be served.
Grades 6 to 12.
Registration required.
The mission of a Toastmasters club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member can develop communication and leadership skills that foster self-confidence and personal growth.
