Horizons at New Canaan Country School (NCCS) will be hosting admission nights Tuesday, January 24 from 4 to 6 p.m., and Wednesday, February 1 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Lower Level Makerspace of the Ferguson Library. During the admissions evenings, staff will be on hand to screen for eligibility and to assist families in completing applications which are available online in English, Spanish and Creole. Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis from current Norwalk and Stamford public school Kindergarten, second and fourth grade students, whose families have household incomes at or below federal poverty guidelines. Horizons at NCCS is a full-year academic and enrichment program serving more than 400 Stamford and Norwalk public school students from Kindergarten through post-secondary school. Anchored by a six week summer program, Horizons also offers year-round programming, including tutoring and academic support, Saturday sessions, college advising, workshops and family programs.
