Matching Gifts

Many companies offer matching gift programs. This means that when you donate to the Ferguson Library Foundation your employer may match that donation, effectively doubling the impact of your support. Check with your employer and find out if your company has a matching gift program.

Donor Advised Funds

DAFs can be easily set up through many financial institutions or community foundations. You can search for the Ferguson Library Foundation as a beneficiary of your gift. Our tax identification number is 22-2849891.

Individual Retirement Account

You can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution from your IRA directly to the Ferguson Library Foundation. Simply provide the foundation’s tax identification number, 22-2849891, to your IRA provider, and ask them to make the distribution to the Ferguson Library Foundation.

Create a Legacy

One of the most extraordinary gifts we can receive is one that helps sustain the library for future generations. Designate a gift in your estate plan or establish an endowment fund in your name or the name of a loved one. If you have made the decision to include the library in your estate, we encourage you to share your intentions with us. This simple step helps to ensure that we are able to fulfill your intended wishes, and offers an opportunity for us to recognize your support for the library’s future in a way that is meaningful to you.

Sunday Sponsorship

Our Sunday Sponsorship program is an opportunity for individuals and organizations to support the library in a tangible way. The Main Library is open 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. Per hour, it is one of our busiest days of the week. We are committed to preserving Sunday hours, but in this era of tight budgets, we must rely on private giving to help bridge the gap.
