The South End Branch is closed until further notice because of damage to the Lathon Wider Community Center.

 

The Bookmobile will provide service in the center’s parking lot at 34 Woodland Avenue on these dates:

Thursday, January 16, 23 and 30 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday, January 17 and 24  from 1 to 5 p.m.
Saturday, January 18 and 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Monday, February 3 from 1 to 5 p.m.
Thursday, February 6, 13, 20 and 27 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday February, 7 and 21 from 1 to 5 p.m.
Saturday, February 1, 8, 15 and 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
 

Program Updates:

Combo Yoga on Saturdays will resume at its regularly scheduled time January 25 and the African and African American Authors Book Discussion on the last Monday of every month will take place on its regularly scheduled dates and times. Both programs will relocate to the Ann. M Sexton Board Room at the Main Library, Di Mattia Building, until further notice.

The Healing Drum Circle on January 13 will meet at 6 p.m. at Domus, 83 Lockwood Avenue. After that, this monthly event will relocate to the First Congregational Church, 655 Stillwater Avenue starting February 10.

The January 18 screening of the documentary A Letter from Birmingham commemorating MLK Day is cancelled. The Cuentos y Actividades bilingual storytimes held every Thursday are cancelled indefinitely.
