Over the years, we've hosted big name authors like David Baldacci, Adriana Trigiani, Wally Lamb and Jacques Pepin. We often begin with a wine reception. Our author events are always a fun evening!

Literary Competition
The Stamford Literary Competition recognizes the best in student writing. The award ceremony is May 5 at the library.
Mini-Golf
Fun for the whole family! Mini-golf returns to the Harry Bennett Branch Saturday, February 22 and Sunday, February 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Tickets are $5 per person, per round. Ages 3 and younger play for free. Snacks available at the “19th hole.”
Books for Babies
Each baby born at Stamford Hospital receives a board book from the Friends as part of their long-running Books for Babies program, which has become a national model. That’s more than 2,000 babies a year!
