Attorney Peter Gennuso represents startups and established companies throughout their business life cycle with a focus on generating operating capital. His work includes advising private and publicly held U.S. and multinational companies in securities and capital-raising, venture capital, private equity, banking and finance matters. 

Gennuso is particularly experienced in providing counsel to early stage and emerging growth companies, as well as entrepreneurs. He handles multimillion-dollar securities offerings, including private placements, initial public offerings, private investment in public equity transactions, public company filings and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance matters. He also represents underwriters and placement agents in securities offerings.

In addition to transactions, Gennuso brings real world experience having served on the board of a public company and held executive positions at several startups. His clients span a variety of innovative sectors, from pharma and life sciences to technology and artificial intelligence.

Gennuso graduated magna cum laude from Iona College and holds JD and MBA in finance degrees from Pace University. He is admitted to practice in New York.
