Designed for parents and caregivers of children with learning and social-emotional differences, this session will explore how to celebrate your child's unique strengths while providing practical strategies to support their learning and emotional well-being. This presentation will also include hands-on activities that allow parents to experience learning challenges firsthand, discover their child's learning style, and practice effective support techniques.

Julienne Foy is a licensed master social worker with more than 20 years of experience in human services and education. Holding a master’s degree from Fordham University, she specializes in supporting young children and families through a holistic, strength-based approach that includes cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy and Mindfulness. A Stamford resident, Foy is actively involved in the community, serving on the Board of Directors at the Stamford Public Education Foundation and volunteering at local events. During her downtime, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family and dog, Quincy.
Morgan Walton is an experienced educator, a mother of three girls and is passionate about literacy and early childhood development. With more than 10 years in early childhood and elementary education, she holds a Montessori certificate and master's degree in early childhood curriculum and instruction from St. Mary’s College. Currently a literacy specialist with Stamford Public Schools, Walton uses multi-sensory, research-based techniques to create individualized support plans for students. She also coaches and mentors educators, contributing to the Reading Universe website. In her free time, she enjoys nature, exercise, and searching for healthy dinner ideas for picky eaters.
