Are you feeling uncertain about how to best support your teen as they transition into adulthood? Wondering how to guide them through the challenges that come with leaving high school behind? Jenna Colavito has designed a workshop that will empower parents and guardians in setting their young adults up for long-term success.

What we'll cover:

  • The main problem young adults face after graduating from high school
  • Three things to teach your young adult before they launch that will set them up for success
  • Some of the mistakes parents and guardians make and how to avoid them
  • The biggest obstacle parents and guardians face and how to overcome them

Registration required.

Jenna Colavito is the founder and creator of Intro to Adulthood, a company whose mission is to help parents and their teens navigate and ease the transition into independent adulthood. Its main goal is to help fill in some of the gaps left out of public education by teaching students practical life skills they don't learn in school so they can make the transition from student to independent adult successfully.

Colavito is a lifelong resident of Stamford and a former public school teacher. She holds a master's degree in education from Manhattanville College. She is also the mother of two Stamford Public School students and a proud Army wife.

Presented in partnership with Intro to Adulthood.
