Alafair Burke is a New York Times bestselling author whose most recent novels include The Better Sister, The Wife, optioned for a feature film by Amazon, and The Ex, which was nominated for the Edgar Award for best novel. She is also the co-author of the bestselling Under Suspicion series with Mary Higgins Clark. A former prosecutor, she is now president of the Mystery Writers of America and teaches criminal law. Erica Katz, whose 2020 debut novel The Boys Club was named the Most Anticipated Book by Buzzfeed, is the pseudonym for a Columbia Law School graduate who began her career at a major Manhattan law firm.
