Screening of the award-winning short documentary The ABCs of Book Banning, to commemorate the Freedom to Read Community Day of Action. The film, which reveals the voices of impacted parties of books banned from school districts, inspiring hope for the future through the profound insights of inquisitive youthful minds, is directed by Sheila Nevins, Trish Adlesic and Nazenet Habtezghi.

The Freedom to Read Community Day of Action is being organized by the Association for Rural and Small Libraries, Brooklyn Public Library, New York Public Library, Queens Public Library and Unite Against Book Bans, in collaboration with libraries and advocates nationwide.
