Meet The New York Times bestselling author Ann Napolitano, who will discuss her latest novel, Hello Beautiful, an homage to Louisa May Alcott’s timeless classic, Little Women. Hello Beautiful is a profoundly moving portrait of what is possible when we choose to love someone not in spite of who they are, but because of it. The conversation will be moderated by The New York Times bestselling author Ann Leary.
In addition to Hello Beautiful, which was selected as Oprah’s 100th book club pick, Napolitano also wrote Dear Edward, a New York Times bestseller, a Read with Jenna selection, and an Apple TV+ series; A Good Hard Look; and Within Arm’s Reach.
For seven years, Napolitano was the associate editor of the literary magazine One Story. She received an MFA from New York University and has taught fiction writing at Brooklyn College’s MFA program, New York University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies and Gotham Writers Workshop.
Ann Leary is the The New York Times bestselling author of the novels, The Children, The Good House, Outtakes from a Marriage and the memoir, An Innocent, a Broad. She has written for numerous publications including Ploughshares, NPR, Real Simple and The New York Times. The Good House was adapted into a motion picture starring Sigourney Weaver and Kevin Kline and was released last September.
