Event Details
Family celebration includes face painting, lawn games, refreshments, a selfie station and a workshop about Puerto Rican bomba music, where you’ll learn about its rhythm styles, traditional, hand-crafted instruments and costumes, typical storytelling songs and basic dance steps.
Bomba is a Puerto Rican music genre that emerged 400 years ago from the colonial plantations where West African enslaved people and their descendants worked.
