Celebrate African American Music Appreciation Month with this screening of the documentary The Devil's Music: 1920s Jazz, part of Culture Shock: The TV Series and Beyond by PBS.

The Devil's Music examines the evolution of jazz from a radically new and socially unacceptable musical genre to its current status as a great American art form.

Encore screening will be presented Friday, July 19 from 7 to 8 p.m.
