CT Mirror Policy Editor Erica E. Phillips in conversation with entrepreneur Jason Sobocinski of New Haven's Haven Hot Chicken.
Reception from 5:30 to 6 p.m.; program from 6 to 7 p.m.
This is the third session in This Could Work!, an in-person, four-part interview series with successful Connecticut entrepreneurs. The conversation will explore origin stories, how they turned their first dollar, and why Connecticut was the place to make it happen.
Registration required here.
New Haven-born Jason Sobocinski has parlayed a series of restaurant jobs and a master’s degree in gastronomy from Boston University into an entrepreneurial career in food and beverage: from the cheese-focused Caseus Fromagerie Bistro to Black Hog Brewing, and several other ventures in between. His latest is Haven Hot Chicken, a rapidly-expanding Nashville-style Hot Chicken concept that was named by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing companies in the U.S.
The final session in the series returns May 28 with Felicia Rubinstein of Havyn Coworking in Darien.
Presented in partnership with CT Mirror.
