Screening of the classic A Raisin in the Sun, part of a weekly series presenting award-winning movies.

In this 1961 film, the fortunes of a poor Black family living in a cramped Chicago apartment change after coming into an unexpected windfall from an insurance check. Conflicts arise they disagree on how to spend the money. 

Starring Sidney Poitier, Claudia McNeil and Ruby Dee.
