Event Details

Christopher Shays served in the Unites States Congress from 1987 to 2009 as representative of the 4th District of Connecticut. Previously he served 13 years in the Connecticut General Assembly. A socially progressive and fiscally conservative moderate Republican, Shays was known for having a strong and successful record of reaching across the aisle to address our nation’s problems.
