The inaugural Connecticut Entrepreneurship Competition for digital games, card games and board games for entertainment and education, sponsored by the Entrepreneurship Foundation and organized by GameDevCT, is currently underway. Prototypes must be submitted here no later than April 25.
The showcase and competition, to be led by a panel of industry professionals, will be held April 30 virtually and at Quinnipiac University. Sign up here to be notified about judges, showcase location and times, login details, and the selected winners.
The winning pitch will take home up to $9,000 in prize money, gain assistance in establishing the business and incubator startup space, and receive advice from veteran game developers. Independents, hobbyists and students with a connection to Connecticut are welcome to apply.
The Entrepreneurship Foundation provides resources to educators and entrepreneurs by by serving as a connector between founders, entrepreneurs, students and mentors. GameDevCT represents and fosters the growth of the games industry and game development community in Connecticut.
