Stamford Pride partnered with several local organizations and small businesses to celebrate Pride Month through inclusive events that help bring support and visibility to the LGBTQ+ community in Stamford and Fairfield County. For a full listing of events, click here.
Upcoming Stamford events include a Rainbow Rave dance for high school students June 9 at the First Presbyterian (Fish) Church, a Drag Storytime June 10 at the Ferguson Library, a Drag Brunch June 17 at Towne Parlor, and a Pride in the Pews service June 18 at the First Congregational Church, among other events.
Stamford's month-long commemoration began June 1 with a flag raising at the Stamford Government Center and the lighting of Old Town Hall.
Made up of a small group of passionate individuals emboldened by the success of other Pride organizations around the globe, Stamford Pride aims to deliver quality programming for all ages and to become a model of support, advocacy and inclusivity for the LGBTQ+ community and its allies in Fairfield County regardless of age, gender or sexuality.
