Notable Books for Adults 2016

Since 1944, the goal of the Notable Books Council has been to make available to the nation’s readers a list of 25 very good, very readable, and at times very important fiction, nonfiction, and poetry books for the adult reader.

2016 Pulitzer Prize

The Pulitzer Prizes and Fellowships, established in Columbia University by the will of the first Joseph Pulitzer, are awarded by the University on the recommendation of The Pulitzer Prize Board. The Board meets twice annually. There are 21 categories across journalism, books, drama and music. The Prizes are announced during the Spring.

Established in 1950, the National Book Award is an American literary prize administered by the National Book Foundation, a nonprofit organization. Man Booker Prize Shortlist 2016
