STAMFORD, May 27, 2014 – Thanks to a generous grant from the Steven A. & Alexandra M. Cohen Foundation, the Ferguson Library bookmobile is now on the road two days a week. Because of budget cutbacks, the bookmobile had been in service only on Wednesdays.

It is now on the road Thursdays as well, bringing library service to the east side and south end of Stamford with stops at the Chester Addison Community Center, Southwood Square Apartments and Ursula Place, among others. The bookmobile will also make several new stops at child care centers around the city in addition to its previously scheduled stops throughout Stamford.

The entire bookmobile schedule is available on the library’s website, http://www.fergusonlibrary.org/about-the-library/locations-hours/bookmobile. The Ferguson Library is Stamford’s public library system, consisting of the Main Library downtown, the Harry Bennett Branch, the Weed Memorial & Hollander Branch, the South End Branch and the bookmobile.

It provides free and equal access to print, audiovisual and electronic resources. Our website, www.fergusonlibrary.org, offers remote access to information and resources.
